Why We Support Torn Pages
The Inspiration
Since day one of Tornpages, the heart of this ministry has been to spread the message of HOPE, PEACE and STRENGTH with every soul we encounter. Having been newly sentenced to 20 years in prison, Jay thought his life was over, BUT GOD! Genesis 50:20 “The enemy meant evil against me, but God meant it for good…” Sitting in his prison cell holding a necklace made of paper beads and a cross, The Lord spoke to Jay’s heart and reminded him that the Tornpages of his own life would be made into something beautiful, a vessel to be used to share the message of HOPE, PEACE and STRENGTH, and the Gospel with people in prison and around the world. Isaiah 61:1 “1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;” It was at that moment, he realized his life was not over and that God had given him a mission: spread this message and deliver the gift of a rejuvenated life to as many people as he can, one life at a time. Jay uses these hand made bracelts as a ministry tool, an effectual open door, to engage with people about the Tornpages of their life by sharing how God’s caring hands can save, heal and restore! All of us have a story, in God’s caring hands our Tornpages can and WILL be made into something beautiful, a life of joy and purpose. Revelation 12:11 ESV “11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.”

In the beginning Jay hand made each bracelet, then we were blessed to visit Africa and now have villages of women who make these for us there. We love partnering with our friends in Africa and helping support them this way.
All sales of Torn Pages jewelry go directly into supporting our missions, as well as supporting the great work of our partner organizations, and finding new ways to maximize our impact on the world as a whole.

Within the first year over 40% of those released are going to return. We positively impact those wanting a better life. We want to help released prisoners find their new calling in life, so they do not end up back in prison.
Direct Economic Aid for Developing Nations
We have partnered with 3 villages in Uganda to help make our bracelets.
We provide aid to these villages through our partners.
